Course Description
Six Sigma Green Belt – PECB develops practical capability to lead scoped Six Sigma projects using DMAIC, statistical thinking, root-cause analysis, solution validation, and control planning. The four-lesson path moves from core principles and governance into applied controls, evidence, exceptions, and accountable improvement.
Applied work is based on an operations function improving a high-volume process with recurring defects, delays, capacity constraints, and customer dissatisfaction. Learners create Green Belt project charter and VOC pack, measurement and capability workbook, analysis and solution validation dossier, and control plan and benefits handover, while testing decisions against realistic operational constraints.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with clear ownership and follow-up.
What You Will Learn
- Explain Green Belt project selection and chartering; statistically connect it to focused improvement leadership.
- Map voice of customer and critical requirements; statistically record evidence for meaningful project outcomes.
- Evaluate measurement systems and data plans; statistically test criteria supporting trustworthy baseline analysis.
- Apply process capability and variation; statistically create evidence for accurate performance diagnosis.
- Identify gaps in root-cause analysis and hypothesis testing; statistically protect validated causal understanding.
- Document solution design, pilots, and risk controls; statistically link decisions to effective improvement implementation.
- Resolve statistical monitoring and control plans scenarios; statistically choose controls for sustained process performance.
- Present benefits validation and operational handover findings; statistically prioritize accountable project closure.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Learners progress from interpretation to application through worked examples, controlled practice, scenario analysis, validation checklists, troubleshooting, and structured improvement planning. Activities are tailored to Six Sigma Green Belt – PECB and its operational setting.
