Course Description
CET Internet of Things Fundamentals develops practical capability in IoT concepts, devices, sensors, gateways, connectivity, data, cloud integration, security, privacy, operations, governance, and use cases.
Learners progress through IoT Concepts, Devices, Sensors, Actuators, Gateways, and Use Cases; Connectivity, Protocols, Edge, Cloud, Data, and Integration; Identity, Device Security, Privacy, Networks, Updates, and Monitoring; and Operations, Fleet Management, Reliability, Governance, Value, and Lifecycle. Each stage connects ISACA-aligned concepts with implementation decisions, governance responsibilities, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows a connected-device team designing an IoT solution while controlling identity, data, communications, cloud, lifecycle, security, and value and produces a practical IoT architecture, data-flow map, security checklist, and deployment roadmap for implementation and operational use.
