Course Description
Cyber Security Audit develops practical capability in cybersecurity audit planning, governance, risk, technical controls, operations, incident readiness, evidence, findings, reporting, and remediation.
Learners progress through Cyber Audit Scope, Criteria, Governance, Risk, Planning, and Evidence; Identity, Network, Endpoint, Application, Data, and Cloud Controls; Monitoring, Vulnerabilities, Incident Readiness, Resilience, and Testing; and Findings, Root Causes, Recommendations, Reporting, and Follow-Up. Each stage connects ISACA-aligned concepts with implementation decisions, governance responsibilities, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows an audit team evaluating cybersecurity governance and technical controls while connecting evidence to risk, criteria, findings, and remediation and produces a practical cyber audit plan, control test file, findings register, and remediation report for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Design CYBER-AUDIT audit scope; CYBER-AUDIT links audit criteria to CYBER-AUDIT security governance and cyber risk.
- Document CYBER-AUDIT cyber risk; CYBER-AUDIT tests evidence planning through CYBER-AUDIT audit scope foundation evidence.
- Analyze CYBER-AUDIT identity controls; CYBER-AUDIT links network security to CYBER-AUDIT endpoint protection and application controls.
- Prioritize CYBER-AUDIT application controls; CYBER-AUDIT tests cloud security through CYBER-AUDIT identity controls assessment evidence.
- Apply CYBER-AUDIT security monitoring; CYBER-AUDIT links vulnerability management to CYBER-AUDIT incident readiness and cyber resilience.
- Evaluate CYBER-AUDIT cyber resilience; CYBER-AUDIT tests control testing through CYBER-AUDIT security monitoring implementation evidence.
- Distinguish CYBER-AUDIT audit findings; CYBER-AUDIT links root-cause analysis to CYBER-AUDIT recommendations and audit reporting.
- Coordinate CYBER-AUDIT audit reporting; CYBER-AUDIT tests remediation follow-up through CYBER-AUDIT audit findings assurance evidence.
