Course Description
ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals – ITCA develops practical capability in cybersecurity foundations, networks, systems, threats, vulnerabilities, controls, incident response, governance, and entry-level practice.
Learners progress through Security Principles, Risk, Threats, Networks, Systems, and Identity; Endpoint, Network, Application, Cloud, Data, and Physical Controls; Vulnerabilities, Monitoring, Detection, Incident Recognition, and Evidence; and Response, Recovery, Governance, Documentation, Communication, and Careers. Each stage connects ISACA-aligned concepts with implementation decisions, governance responsibilities, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows an entry-level practitioner protecting a small enterprise environment, recognizing abnormal behavior, escalating incidents, and documenting evidence and produces a practical ITCA cybersecurity workbook, hardening checklist, incident record, and improvement plan for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Design CSX-FND-ITCA security principles; CSX-FND-ITCA links risk concepts to CSX-FND-ITCA cyber threats and network fundamentals.
- Document CSX-FND-ITCA network fundamentals; CSX-FND-ITCA tests identity controls through CSX-FND-ITCA security principles foundation evidence.
- Analyze CSX-FND-ITCA endpoint protection; CSX-FND-ITCA links network security to CSX-FND-ITCA application controls and cloud security.
- Prioritize CSX-FND-ITCA cloud security; CSX-FND-ITCA tests data protection through CSX-FND-ITCA endpoint protection assessment evidence.
- Apply CSX-FND-ITCA vulnerability management; CSX-FND-ITCA links security monitoring to CSX-FND-ITCA detection indicators and incident recognition.
- Evaluate CSX-FND-ITCA incident recognition; CSX-FND-ITCA tests evidence handling through CSX-FND-ITCA vulnerability management implementation evidence.
- Distinguish CSX-FND-ITCA incident response; CSX-FND-ITCA links service recovery to CSX-FND-ITCA security governance and technical documentation.
- Coordinate CSX-FND-ITCA technical documentation; CSX-FND-ITCA tests career development through CSX-FND-ITCA incident response assurance evidence.
