Course Description
IT Risk Fundamentals develops practical capability in IT risk concepts, governance, identification, analysis, treatment, controls, monitoring, communication, and foundational practice.
Learners progress through IT Risk Concepts, Governance, Assets, Threats, Vulnerabilities, and Context; Risk Identification, Scenarios, Likelihood, Impact, and Evaluation; Risk Treatment, Controls, Ownership, Exceptions, and Residual Risk; and Monitoring, Indicators, Reporting, Communication, and Improvement. Each stage connects ISACA-aligned concepts with implementation decisions, governance responsibilities, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows a junior risk practitioner documenting technology exposures, evaluating impact, selecting controls, and communicating residual risk and produces a practical IT risk worksheet, treatment plan, control checklist, and monitoring summary for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
