Course Description
ISO 27701 Introduction develops practical capability to introduce ISO 27701 privacy information management concepts for PII controllers, processors, governance, controls, and assurance. The learning path begins with privacy management concepts, pii, controller, processor, context, scope, and stakeholders and progresses into iso 27701 relationship with iso 27001 and 27002, leadership, policy, and roles, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to an organization extending its information security management system to cover privacy obligations and processing activities. Learners then address privacy notices, rights, processing records, suppliers, transfers, incidents, and controls and monitoring, internal audit, management review, corrective action, and privacy improvement, producing privacy context and role worksheet, PIMS integration and governance map, introductory privacy control register, privacy assurance and next-steps plan.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
