Course Description

This course combines Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provisioning with Jenkins pipeline automation. Learners create OCI resources in Terraform and then convert the manual workflow into repeatable pipeline stages.

The content covers OCI authentication, compartments, networking, compute, identity, state, variables, modules, Jenkins credentials, pipeline-as-code, plan artifacts, approvals, and post-deployment checks.

Learners finish with a Jenkins-driven OCI infrastructure workflow that preserves plan evidence, protects credentials, and stops promotion when validation fails.

What You Will Learn

• Design and implement OCI tenancy, compartments, regions, and availability domains for Terraform with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Jenkins.
• Validate API key, configuration, and workload identity concepts, Terraform OCI provider and provider aliases, and Repository setup, inputs, tagging, and plan verification through practical evidence and controlled change.
• Design and implement VCN, subnets, route tables, gateways, and security lists for Terraform with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Jenkins.
• Validate Compute instances, images, shapes, and metadata, Dynamic groups and IAM policies, and Outputs, dependencies, and connectivity validation through practical evidence and controlled change.
• Design and implement OCI-backed remote state and access controls for Terraform with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Jenkins.
• Validate Reusable modules for networking and compute, Jenkinsfile stages, agents, credentials, and parameters, and Validate, plan, artifact, approval, and apply stages through practical evidence and controlled change.
• Design and implement Environment promotion and manual approval for Terraform with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Jenkins.
• Validate Post-apply tests and operational outputs, Drift, failed apply, rollback choices, and state recovery, and Pipeline logs, notifications, support, and improvement through practical evidence and controlled change.
