Course Description
Terraform Advanced (GCP) with CI/CD focuses on infrastructure patterns used beyond a single project. Learners design project, network, identity, and service deployment with organization-aware controls and pipeline-driven change.
The course addresses Google Cloud providers, service accounts, projects, shared VPC, IAM, modules, remote state, provider aliases, policy checks, workload identity, plan artifacts, promotion, and drift.
The final deliverable is a multi-environment GCP infrastructure pipeline that separates reusable platform modules from environment composition and provides strong evidence for every promoted change.
What You Will Learn
- Design and implement Organizations, folders, projects, billing, and service enablement for Terraform Advanced (GCP) with CI/CD.
- Validate Google provider configuration and aliases, Service accounts, impersonation, and workload identity, and Naming, labels, ownership, and organization-policy awareness through practical evidence and controlled change.
- Design and implement VPCs, subnets, secondary ranges, routes, and firewall rules for Terraform Advanced (GCP) with CI/CD.
- Validate Shared VPC host and service projects, Private access, NAT, load balancing, and DNS, and Managed services, dependencies, and regional design through practical evidence and controlled change.
- Design and implement Versioned GCP modules and composition roots for Terraform Advanced (GCP) with CI/CD.
- Validate GCS remote state, locking behavior, and access, Validation, terraform test, linting, and policy checks, and Module contracts, examples, upgrade paths, and documentation through practical evidence and controlled change.
- Design and implement Pull-request validation and speculative plans for Terraform Advanced (GCP) with CI/CD.
- Validate Plan artifact integrity, approvals, and environment promotion, Dynamic credentials, secrets, and pipeline identity, and Drift detection, failed apply, monitoring, and operational handoff through practical evidence and controlled change.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Learners build a GCP platform foundation through pull requests. The workshop includes a service-account permission failure, a shared-VPC dependency issue, a policy rejection, and a stale plan so learners practice real pipeline diagnosis rather than a clean happy path.
