Course Description
Certified Cloud Security Analyst (CCSA) (PECB) develops practical capability to analyze cloud security risks, architectures, identities, data, workloads, monitoring, incidents, and compliance evidence. The four-lesson path moves from core principles and governance into applied controls, evidence, exceptions, and accountable improvement.
Applied work is based on a hybrid-cloud organization operating SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, containers, serverless workloads, and multi-cloud identities. Learners create cloud governance and responsibility map, cloud risk and control assessment, cloud monitoring and response workbook, and cloud security assurance report, while testing decisions against realistic operational constraints.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with clear ownership and follow-up.
What You Will Learn
- Explain cloud service models and shared responsibilities; technically connect it to accurate control ownership.
- Map cloud architecture and risk context; technically record evidence for focused security analysis.
- Evaluate identity, access, and privileged operations; technically test criteria supporting controlled administrative exposure.
- Apply data, keys, networks, and workloads; technically create evidence for layered cloud protection.
- Identify gaps in configuration and vulnerability evidence; technically protect reliable technical assurance.
- Document logging, detection, and incident response; technically link decisions to visible cloud threats.
- Resolve compliance assessments and findings scenarios; technically choose controls for defensible assurance conclusions.
- Present remediation priorities and verification findings; technically prioritize measurable cloud improvement.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Learners progress from interpretation to application through worked examples, controlled practice, scenario analysis, validation checklists, troubleshooting, and structured improvement planning. Activities are tailored to Certified Cloud Security Analyst (CCSA) (PECB) and its operational setting.
