ISO/IEC 27400 Foundation (PECB) develops practical capability to understand foundational cybersecurity and privacy guidance for Internet of Things environments under ISO/IEC 27400. The four-lesson path moves from core principles and governance into applied controls, evidence, exceptions, and accountable improvement.

Applied work is based on a connected-products team reviewing devices, applications, cloud services, communications, data, and suppliers. Learners create IoT ecosystem and stakeholder map, IoT risk identification workbook, IoT control and lifecycle checklist, and IoT improvement action register, while testing decisions against realistic operational constraints.

By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with clear ownership and follow-up.
