Course Description
ISO/IEC 17025 Foundation develops practical capability to understand ISO/IEC 17025 competence requirements for laboratories, impartiality, resources, methods, traceability, results, and assurance. The learning path begins with laboratory competence, iso 17025 structure, impartiality, confidentiality, and governance and advances through personnel, facilities, equipment, calibration, metrological traceability, and suppliers, connecting requirements and methods with accountable roles, reviewable evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to a testing and calibration laboratory strengthening technical competence, data integrity, reporting, and management-system evidence. Learners then address methods, sampling, handling, technical records, uncertainty, and result validity and reporting, complaints, nonconforming work, audit, review, and improvement, producing laboratory governance and impartiality map, resource and traceability control register, method and technical-record workbook, and laboratory assurance and improvement report.
By completion, participants can interpret the applicable framework, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and assign practical follow-up actions.
