Course Description
GDPR Foundation develops practical capability to understand GDPR principles, roles, lawful processing, individual rights, privacy controls, and accountability evidence. The learning path begins with gdpr principles, scope, personal data, roles, and accountability and advances through lawful bases, consent, transparency, rights, and retention, connecting requirements and methods with accountable roles, reviewable evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to a controller and processor ecosystem handling employee, customer, marketing, analytics, and cross-border data. Learners then address dpia, privacy by design, processors, transfers, and security and breaches, records, complaints, supervision, and continual improvement, producing GDPR principles and responsibility map, lawfulness and rights assessment workbook, DPIA and processor control register, and privacy incident and improvement plan.
On completion, learners can translate the subject into repeatable work, challenge weak evidence, explain decisions, and hand over prioritized improvements with clear ownership.
