Course Description
ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Auditor develops practical capability to lead ISO/IEC 27701 audits of privacy governance, controller and processor controls, evidence, findings, and corrective actions. The learning path begins with pims requirements, audit principles, programme, scope, criteria, independence, risk, and auditor competence and progresses into audit planning, controller-processor boundaries, process mapping, sampling, interviews, records, and evidence, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to an audit team evaluating a privacy information management system spanning customer, employee, digital, and outsourced processing. Learners then address privacy rights, dpia, notices, consent, vendors, transfers, incidents, controls, and findings and audit reporting, nonconformity, corrective action, follow-up, certification, and continual assurance, producing PIMS audit programme and competence plan, privacy audit plan and working papers, privacy-control evidence and findings matrix, lead audit report and corrective-action follow-up.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
