Course Description
NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 develops practical capability to apply NIST CSF 2.0 functions, profiles, tiers, outcomes, and improvement planning to enterprise cybersecurity risk. The learning path begins with csf 2.0 purpose, govern function, core, organizational profiles, tiers, scope, and stakeholders and progresses into identify assets, business context, risk, supply chain, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and priorities, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to an organization using CSF 2.0 to align executives, risk owners, security teams, suppliers, and investment decisions. Learners then address protect and detect outcomes, access, data, platforms, awareness, monitoring, and anomalies and respond and recover outcomes, communication, analysis, mitigation, recovery, metrics, and roadmap, producing CSF 2.0 governance and current-profile charter, asset, risk, and supply-chain outcome assessment, protect-detect control and evidence matrix, target profile and prioritized improvement roadmap.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
What You Will Learn
- Explain CSF 2.0 purpose, Core, Profiles, Tiers, scope, and stakeholders.
- Apply the Govern function to strategy, policy, roles, risk oversight, and supply chains.
- Identify assets, business context, vulnerabilities, dependencies, threats, and cybersecurity priorities.
- Plan Protect outcomes for identity, data, platforms, awareness, and technology resilience.
- Design Detect outcomes using monitoring, analysis, baselines, and anomaly recognition.
- Coordinate Respond outcomes through communication, analysis, mitigation, escalation, and incident learning.
- Strengthen Recover outcomes through restoration, validation, stakeholder communication, and improvement.
- Build current and target Profiles that guide measurable cybersecurity roadmap priorities.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Training follows NIST CSF 2.0 adoption work from context and planning through implementation, evidence review, exception analysis, validation, and improvement. Delivery combines instructor demonstrations, hands-on exercises, scenario analysis, course-specific checklists, structured troubleshooting, and a final improvement plan.
