Course Description
ISO 22301 Foundation Training develops practical capability to understand and apply business continuity management concepts, ISO 22301 requirements, response arrangements, evaluation, and improvement. The learning path begins with foundations of bcms purpose, context, scope, leadership, policy, and roles and applying business impact, risk, recovery objectives, dependencies, and strategies, connecting requirements and principles with governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable outcomes.
Applied work is framed around an organization dependent on people, technology, facilities, information, utilities, logistics, and external service providers. Learners then progress through operating response structure, plans, communication, suppliers, ict, and exercises and evaluating monitoring, internal audit, management review, corrective action, and improvement, producing BCMS concept and scope map, BIA and continuity-priority worksheet, continuity response and exercise portfolio, and BCMS performance and improvement report.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflows, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over actions with clear ownership, monitoring, and follow-up.
