Course Description
ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer Training develops practical capability to implement a privacy information management system that extends security governance with privacy roles, risks, controls, and accountability. The learning path begins with pims context, scope, leadership, policy, roles, and planning and pii inventory, privacy risk, objectives, lawful processing, and controls, connecting PECB and ISO requirements with governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable acceptance.
Applied work is framed around an organization acting as controller and processor across employee, customer, analytics, marketing, cloud, and supplier processing. Learners then progress through controller, processor, rights, vendors, transfers, and operations and measurement, audit, review, corrective action, and certification, producing PIMS charter and implementation roadmap, privacy risk and control treatment register, PIMS operational control evidence library, and PIMS performance and certification-readiness report.
By completion, participants can interpret applicable requirements, perform implementation, audit, assessment, or foundation activities, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over clear improvement actions with ownership and follow-up.
What You Will Learn
- Establish privacy context and interested parties; establish PIMS scope as the privacy baseline.
- Coordinate leadership commitment with privacy policy, assigning privacy ownership for controller roles and processor roles.
- Compare PII inventory, privacy risk assessment, and privacy impact before approving privacy privacy objectives decisions.
- Reference privacy risk and control to validate lawful processing, control selection, and privacy expectations.
- Implement privacy controls that strengthen controller controls, processor controls, and data-subject rights consistently.
- Exercise international transfers through privacy privacy by design scenarios, documenting results against incident management.
- Link privacy metrics, monitoring results, and internal-audit findings to management-review decisions.
- Finalize PIMS performance and certification-readiness with privacy-review owners, corrective-action dates, and certification-readiness priorities.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
The implementation path links privacy context, inventories, risk, controller and processor controls, monitoring, and certification readiness. Delivery includes instructor demonstrations, guided exercises, scenario analysis, validation checklists, structured troubleshooting, and a final improvement plan.
