Course Description

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Training develops practical capability to audit ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems. The learning path begins with oh&s requirements, audit programme, scope, and worker focus and context, legal duties, hazards, risk, planning, and evidence, connecting PECB and ISO concepts to governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable acceptance.

Applied work is framed around an organization managing workplace hazards, contractors, legal duties, emergencies, incidents, and worker wellbeing. Learners then address operational controls, contractors, procurement, change, and incidents and reporting, consultation, corrective action, follow-up, and improvement, producing OH&S audit programme, OH&S audit papers, OH&S finding matrix, and OH&S verification report.

By completion, participants can interpret requirements, perform implementation, audit, analysis, or foundation activities, evaluate evidence, communicate conclusions, and hand over an improvement record with clear ownership and follow-up.
