Cybersecurity Foundation – PECB Training develops practical capability to understand cybersecurity concepts, threats, controls, governance, incidents, risk, and professional responsibilities. The learning path begins with cybersecurity concepts, assets, threats, vulnerabilities, risk, and roles and identity, network, endpoint, application, and data controls, connecting PECB and ISO concepts to governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable acceptance.

Applied work is framed around new practitioners supporting users, systems, data, networks, cloud services, and policies. Learners then address awareness, monitoring, incidents, backup, continuity, and recovery and risk treatment, policies, compliance, metrics, and careers, producing cybersecurity asset map, security control checklist, incident and recovery worksheet, and cybersecurity readiness plan.

By completion, participants can interpret requirements, perform implementation, audit, analysis, or foundation activities, evaluate evidence, communicate conclusions, and hand over an improvement record with clear ownership and follow-up.
