Course Description
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH v10) develops practical capability in authorized ethical-hacking methodology, attack-surface analysis, vulnerability validation, defensive testing, evidence, and remediation.
Learners progress through Ethics, Authorization, Threat Landscape, and Engagement Planning; Reconnaissance, Attack Surface Mapping, and Vulnerability Prioritization; Network, Web, Wireless, Cloud, and Human-Factor Security; and Reporting, Remediation Validation, and Continuous Security Improvement. Each stage connects EC-Council concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows a security team must assess a defined environment under written authorization, protect operational stability, and convert findings into verified risk reduction and produces a practical CEH v10 authorized-lab record, vulnerability evidence, countermeasure checklist, and findings report for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Assess professional ethics for CEH-v10; connect legal authorization with CEH-v10 evidence and rules of engagement.
- Implement asset scope in CEH-v10; test risk assumptions against CEH-v10 records and stakeholder communication.
- Map passive discovery across CEH-v10; compare attack-surface inventory through CEH-v10 analysis and vulnerability assessment.
- Evaluate false-positive review during CEH-v10; trace risk ranking into CEH-v10 findings and test evidence.
- Distinguish network exposure around CEH-v10; verify web application weaknesses using CEH-v10 checks and wireless controls.
- Document cloud misconfiguration through CEH-v10; challenge social-engineering defenses with CEH-v10 scenarios and security monitoring.
- Design evidence preservation for CEH-v10; isolate technical findings via CEH-v10 evidence and executive reporting.
- Verify remediation planning within CEH-v10; hand over verification testing beside CEH-v10 controls and lessons learned.
