Course Description
ICS/SCADA Cybersecurity develops practical capability in industrial control and SCADA architecture, safety-aware risk assessment, segmentation, monitoring, incident response, and resilience.
Learners progress through ICS and SCADA Architecture, Safety, Assets, Protocols, and Trust Boundaries; Threats, Vulnerabilities, Remote Access, Segmentation, and Secure Design; Monitoring, Detection, Logging, Incident Triage, and Forensic Readiness; and Recovery, Continuity, Supplier Risk, Validation, and Improvement Planning. Each stage connects EC-Council concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows an operational-technology team must reduce cyber risk while preserving process safety, availability, engineering integrity, and recovery capability and produces a practical OT asset and trust-zone map, monitoring plan, incident playbook, and resilience improvement portfolio for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Distinguish OT architecture for ICS/SCADA; connect process safety with ICS/SCADA evidence and asset inventory.
- Document industrial protocols in ICS/SCADA; test trust boundaries against ICS/SCADA records and engineering dependencies.
- Design OT threat scenarios across ICS/SCADA; compare legacy vulnerabilities through ICS/SCADA analysis and remote access.
- Verify network segmentation during ICS/SCADA; trace secure architecture into ICS/SCADA findings and change control.
- Prioritize passive monitoring around ICS/SCADA; verify baseline behavior using ICS/SCADA checks and alert triage.
- Coordinate incident coordination through ICS/SCADA; challenge forensic readiness with ICS/SCADA scenarios and safety escalation.
- Analyze recovery priorities for ICS/SCADA; isolate backup validation via ICS/SCADA evidence and supplier access.
- Improve continuity testing within ICS/SCADA; hand over control verification beside ICS/SCADA controls and improvement roadmap.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
