Course Description
SkillDynamo’s Archicad BIM Design and Documentation Training provides a practical, structured learning path for architectural design and Building Information Modeling workflows. Learners progress from the Archicad interface, project setup, stories, grids, layers, attributes, and 2D/3D navigation to building-element modeling, custom objects, materials, documentation, schedules, visualization, collaboration, interoperability, BIMx presentation, and project delivery. The course uses version-neutral concepts so learners can apply the workflow across current Archicad releases while validating interface differences in the installed version.
What You Will Learn
- Set up structured Archicad projects using stories, grids, layers, attributes, views, and templates.
- Create coordinated BIM models with walls, slabs, roofs, shells, openings, stairs, railings, objects, and zones.
- Produce plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, layouts, PDFs, and model-based project documentation.
- Apply surfaces, visualization, Teamwork, BIMcloud, BIMx, IFC, DWG, issue coordination, and publishing workflows.
Who Should Attend
Architects, architectural designers, BIM modelers, civil and structural professionals, interior designers, AEC students, CAD users moving to BIM, and project teams responsible for Archicad modeling and documentation.
Recommended Prerequisites
Basic understanding of architectural drawings, building components, and computer operation is recommended. Previous CAD or BIM experience is helpful but not mandatory.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Training combines instructor-guided demonstrations, a progressive building-model exercise, documentation workflows, schedules, visualization tasks, collaboration scenarios, publishing checks, and troubleshooting. Menu names and feature availability should be confirmed in the Archicad release used for delivery.
