Architecture Overview

This lesson covers Architecture Overview in the context of Adobe AEM Sites Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Fast Track.

• Deconstructing Edge Delivery Services: Moving from traditional AEM (Sling/JCR) to document-based and structured content delivery.
• The Content Pipeline: How content flows from Document Authoring (SharePoint/Google Drive) or AEM Content Fragment Models to the Edge.
• Performance First: Understanding the 100 Lighthouse score philosophy and how EDS achieves it via aggressive caching and minimized payloads.
• Extensibility Model: Where custom code lives (GitHub) vs. where content lives, and how they merge at the Edge.
