Course Description
ISSAP develops practical capability in governance, risk, compliance, architecture modeling, infrastructure protection, system security, identity architecture, assurance, and risk-based design communication.
The course progresses through Governance, Risk, Compliance, Architecture Principles, and Auditability; Security Architecture Modeling, Frameworks, Threat Analysis, and Design Validation; Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Platform, Cryptography, and Resilience Architecture; Identity Lifecycle, Federation, Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access, and Readiness. Each lesson turns current ISC2 domain knowledge into role-based decisions, implementation artifacts, validation evidence, troubleshooting, and exam-ready judgment.
Learners work through a chief security architect designing a resilient target architecture for an organization combining on-premises platforms, cloud services, operational technology, and external partners and produce a practical architecture principles, compliance traceability map, threat model, reference architecture, infrastructure blueprint, cryptographic design, identity architecture, design-validation report, and ISSAP readiness record for implementation, review, professional handover, and certification preparation.
What You Will Learn
- Derive architecture principles from business objectives, legal duties, risk appetite, and stakeholder needs.
- Use reference architectures and modeling methods to compare alternative security designs.
- Validate proposed architectures through threat modeling, peer review, testing, and compensating controls.
- Architect resilient infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, operational, and physical environments.
- Integrate cryptography, network zoning, monitoring, and platform hardening into coherent blueprints.
- Design identity lifecycles, federation, authentication, authorization, and privileged access patterns.
- Produce architecture documentation that supports implementation, auditability, operations, and change.
- Present risk-based recommendations that executives and engineering teams can act upon.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Training uses architecture principles, reference models, threat modeling, infrastructure and IAM design, validation reviews, compensating-control analysis, and architecture-focused exam practice.
