Course Description
ISSMP develops practical capability in security leadership, organizational management, lifecycle governance, risk, operations, resilience, legal duties, ethics, compliance, and executive decision-making.
The course progresses through Leadership, Organizational Governance, Strategy, Culture, Workforce, and Suppliers; Systems Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Risk, Acquisition, and Business Integration; Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Incident Leadership, and Contingency Management; Law, Ethics, Privacy, Compliance, Investigations, and Management Readiness. Each lesson turns current ISC2 domain knowledge into role-based decisions, implementation artifacts, validation evidence, troubleshooting, and exam-ready judgment.
Learners work through a senior security manager aligning a global security program with business transformation, regulatory obligations, operational threats, and resilience goals and produce a practical security strategy, governance scorecard, workforce and supplier plan, lifecycle oversight model, enterprise risk narrative, operations dashboard, resilience exercise report, compliance decision record, and ISSMP readiness record for implementation, review, professional handover, and certification preparation.
