Course Description
PHP Security develops practical capability in secure software lifecycle, threat modeling, language-specific controls, application testing, dependency risk, deployment, and maintenance.
Learners progress through Secure SDLC, Requirements, Threat Modeling, Architecture, and Design Review; Input, Identity, Session, Cryptography, Errors, and Data Protection; Code Review, SAST, DAST, Dependencies, APIs, and Security Testing; and Secure Deployment, Configuration, Monitoring, Maintenance, and Handover. Each stage connects EC-Council concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows a development team must release a business application while preventing common weaknesses, proving control effectiveness, and maintaining secure delivery evidence and produces a practical PHP threat model, secure-code review, security-test evidence, and deployment checklist for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Prioritize security requirements for PHP-Security; connect threat modeling with PHP-Security evidence and trust boundaries.
- Coordinate secure architecture in PHP-Security; test abuse cases against PHP-Security records and design review.
- Analyze PHP input validation across PHP-Security; compare authentication through PHP-Security analysis and authorization.
- Improve session security during PHP-Security; trace cryptography into PHP-Security findings and error handling.
- Explain PHP code review around PHP-Security; verify SAST using PHP-Security checks and DAST.
- Apply Composer dependencies through PHP-Security; challenge API security with PHP-Security scenarios and test triage.
- Interpret deployment hardening for PHP-Security; isolate secret management via PHP-Security evidence and configuration control.
- Validate application logging within PHP-Security; hand over patching beside PHP-Security controls and operational handover.
