DevSecOps Essentials (DSE) develops practical capability in DevSecOps culture, secure design, code and dependency controls, pipeline security, infrastructure as code, containers, runtime protection, and measurement.

Learners progress through DevSecOps Culture, Governance, Threat Modeling, Backlog, and Security Ownership; Secure Code, Dependencies, Secrets, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and Review; CI/CD Security, Testing, Supply Chain, Containers, and Release Assurance; and Runtime Security, Observability, Incident Feedback, Metrics, and Improvement. Each stage connects EC-Council concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.

The learning journey follows a product team must accelerate delivery while embedding proportionate security controls, preserving developer flow, and producing auditable evidence and produces a practical DevSecOps control map, secure-pipeline evidence, dependency report, and improvement backlog for implementation and operational use.
