Course Description
Certified Cybersecurity Technician v1 develops practical capability in cybersecurity foundations, networking, systems, common threats, protective controls, vulnerability awareness, incident response, and career-ready practice.
Learners progress through Security Principles, Risk, Threats, Networking, Systems, and Access Control; Security Technologies, Hardening, Vulnerabilities, and Defensive Validation; Monitoring, Incident Recognition, Evidence, Response, and Recovery; and Governance, Safe Practice, Documentation, Career Skills, and Improvement. Each stage connects EC-Council concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows a junior security practitioner must protect a small enterprise environment, recognize abnormal behavior, follow escalation paths, and document reliable evidence and produces a practical technician lab workbook, hardening checklist, vulnerability report, and incident-escalation record for implementation and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Distinguish CIA principles for CCT-v1; connect risk concepts with CCT-v1 evidence and threat types.
- Document network fundamentals in CCT-v1; test operating systems against CCT-v1 records and access control.
- Design endpoint protection across CCT-v1; compare network controls through CCT-v1 analysis and system hardening.
- Verify vulnerability management during CCT-v1; trace patching into CCT-v1 findings and configuration review.
- Prioritize security monitoring around CCT-v1; verify incident indicators using CCT-v1 checks and evidence handling.
- Coordinate response steps through CCT-v1; challenge recovery with CCT-v1 scenarios and escalation.
- Analyze policy awareness for CCT-v1; isolate ethical conduct via CCT-v1 evidence and documentation.
- Improve communication within CCT-v1; hand over skills roadmap beside CCT-v1 controls and continuous learning.
