Course Description
Fraud & Forensics – Prevention, Detection, and Investigation develops practical capability to prevent, detect, investigate, and report fraud using governance, controls, analytics, evidence, interviews, and forensic discipline. The learning path begins with fraud schemes, red flags, ethics, governance, responsibilities, legal context, and investigation triggers and progresses into fraud risk assessment, preventive controls, segregation, monitoring, data analytics, and detection, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to an investigation function responding to procurement, payment, payroll, expense, cyber-enabled, and insider fraud allegations. Learners then address investigation planning, evidence preservation, interviews, digital forensics, analysis, and chain of custody and findings, reporting, loss quantification, recovery, legal coordination, remediation, and improvement, producing fraud risk and scheme assessment, fraud prevention and analytics control plan, forensic investigation and evidence file, fraud findings and remediation report.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
