Course Description
ISO 21502 Foundation develops practical capability to understand ISO 21502 project management guidance and apply integrated practices across planning, delivery, control, and closure. The learning path begins with project concepts, context, governance, sponsorship, roles, lifecycle, and integrated management and progresses into scope, schedule, cost, resources, procurement, work planning, and delivery coordination, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to a cross-functional project team establishing consistent governance and delivery controls for a business transformation initiative. Learners then address risk, quality, change, communication, stakeholders, issues, and performance control and acceptance, transition, closure, benefits, lessons, reporting, and continual improvement, producing project governance and lifecycle map, integrated project planning baseline, project control and decision register, closure, benefits, and lessons report.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
