Course Description
ISO 28000 Transition develops practical capability to plan and control the transition of an existing supply-chain security management system to updated ISO 28000 requirements. The learning path begins with transition purpose, revised structure, change governance, stakeholders, scope, and gap analysis and progresses into context, leadership, risk, objectives, resources, competence, and documentation changes, connecting requirements and methods with clear ownership, defensible evidence, and measurable decisions.
Applied work is anchored to a certified logistics organization comparing its current SCSMS with revised requirements and preparing transition evidence. Learners then address operational controls, partners, cargo, information, incidents, continuity, and updated evidence and transition audit, nonconformity, corrective action, management review, readiness, and certification, producing ISO 28000 transition charter and gap register, revised governance and planning pack, updated operational control evidence matrix, transition audit and readiness report.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflow, evaluate exceptions, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over prioritized actions with named ownership and follow-up.
