Course Description
ISO 14001 Foundation Training develops practical capability to understand ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements, aspects, compliance duties, controls, performance, and improvement. The learning path begins with foundations of ems purpose, context, scope, leadership, policy, and interested parties and applying environmental aspects, compliance obligations, risks, objectives, and planning, connecting requirements and principles with governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable outcomes.
Applied work is framed around an organization managing energy, materials, emissions, waste, water, suppliers, products, services, and environmental obligations. Learners then progress through operating operational controls, suppliers, communication, emergencies, and lifecycle and evaluating monitoring, measurement, compliance evaluation, audit, review, and improvement, producing EMS foundation concept and scope map, environmental aspects and planning worksheet, EMS operational control exercise, and ISO 14001 foundation readiness plan.
By completion, participants can interpret the subject, perform the relevant workflows, evaluate evidence, communicate supported conclusions, and hand over actions with clear ownership, monitoring, and follow-up.
