Course Description
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation Training develops practical capability to understand ISO/IEC 27001:2022 requirements, ISMS risk, Annex A controls, evaluation, and improvement. The learning path begins with information security, isms concepts, context, leadership, and scope and risk assessment, treatment, applicability, objectives, and acceptance, connecting PECB and ISO concepts to governance, evidence, stakeholder decisions, and measurable acceptance.
Applied work is framed around staff, managers, control owners, auditors, and project members contributing to information security. Learners then address annex a organizational, people, physical, and technological controls and operations, measurement, audit, review, and improvement, producing ISMS concept and scope map, foundation risk exercise, Annex A worksheet, and ISMS readiness plan.
By completion, participants can interpret requirements, perform implementation, audit, analysis, or foundation activities, evaluate evidence, communicate conclusions, and hand over an improvement record with clear ownership and follow-up.
