Course Description
BR230 – Billing and Revenue Innovation Management develops the practical capability to explain SAP BRIM subscription, charging, mediation, invoicing, receivables, partner settlement, and revenue-sharing processes. The course connects SAP concepts with controlled execution, evidence-based decisions, and responsibilities that can be reviewed after implementation.
Applied work follows a digital-services provider assessing how recurring subscriptions, usage events, complex pricing, invoicing, payments, and partner obligations can be managed through SAP BRIM. Learners create BRIM capability and process-map workbook, BRIM charging and mediation evidence pack, billing and receivables control register, BRIM solution roadmap and handover plan. Scenario testing addresses realistic conditions including a product model supports subscription fees but omits usage-based charging obligations; usage records are accepted while an incorrect unit produces understated charges; an invoice is generated twice after an upstream retry is not recognized; a partner settlement excludes adjustments posted after the revenue-sharing cutoff.
By completion, participants can apply the relevant SAP processes and configuration, explain observed results, correct supported exceptions, and hand over monitored controls that sustain coherent SAP BRIM process design.
