Course Description
ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Desk develops practical capability in Service Desk purpose, workflows, roles, information, controls, measurement, assurance, and improvement.
Learners progress through Service Desk Purpose, Scope, Principles, Value, and Stakeholders; Service Desk Workflows, Roles, Information, Controls, and Coordination; Service Desk Integration, Technology, Risk, Exceptions, and Assurance; and Service Desk Measurement, Reporting, Improvement, Adoption, and Handover. Each stage connects PeopleCert-aligned concepts with implementation decisions, operational controls, troubleshooting, and reviewable evidence.
The learning journey follows an IT service organization applying Service Desk to a live service environment while balancing value, risk, user experience, operational stability, and evidence and produces a practical Service Desk operating model, workflow map, validation record, and improvement backlog for implementation and operational use.
