Course Description
Siebel Open UI Adv JavaScript API prepares learners to work confidently with Siebel Open UI presentation models, physical renderers, JavaScript APIs, manifests, events, controls, data access, integration, debugging, performance, and upgrade-safe deployment. Learners work within a Siebel development team implementing an interactive Open UI feature without compromising upgradeability or supportability, linking configuration and process decisions to security, accuracy, availability, and operational ownership.
Four connected stages cover Open UI Architecture, Presentation Models, and Physical Renderers; JavaScript API, Events, Manifest, and Custom Controls; Data Access, Validation, Navigation, and External Integration; Performance, Debugging, Upgrade-Safe Packaging, and Deployment. Every stage produces practical evidence, a validation record, troubleshooting notes, and a reusable handover outcome.
What You Will Learn
- Apply Open UI client architecture, proxy objects, presentation models, physical renderers, and bindings while working through open ui architecture, presentation models, and physical renderers.
- Validate applet lifecycle, method overrides, property sets, events, and rendering phases and resolve issues involving initialization defects, binding order, missing renderer, and lifecycle diagnosis.
- Apply Open UI JavaScript API, PM properties, methods, notifications, and event attachment while working through javascript api, events, manifest, and custom controls.
- Validate manifest administration, expressions, files, sequence, usage type, and conditional loading and resolve issues involving event duplication, load-order conflicts, browser compatibility, and controlled correction.
- Apply business service calls, property sets, applet methods, record context, and data retrieval while working through data access, validation, navigation, and external integration.
- Validate client-side validation, user messages, field state, save behavior, and server confirmation and resolve issues involving REST/external-service integration, asynchronous requests, security, and error handling.
- Apply browser developer tools, console tracing, network analysis, source maps, and log correlation while working through performance, debugging, upgrade-safe packaging, and deployment.
- Validate rendering performance, event volume, memory leaks, DOM cost, and caching and resolve issues involving unit/regression testing, workspace delivery, cache clearing, rollback, and production validation.
Training Approach
Guided demonstrations, hands-on configuration, scenario analysis, validation checklists, controlled failure testing, troubleshooting, solution review, and a final improvement plan are used throughout Siebel Open UI Adv JavaScript API. Learners document assumptions, settings, outputs, exceptions, corrective actions, rollback needs, and operational responsibilities.
