Course Description
Primavera Unifier: uDesigner builds practical capability across uDesigner concepts, business process types, data definitions, data elements, Upper forms, detail forms, line items. Rather than treating the application as a set of isolated screens, the course follows the decisions, dependencies, roles, and evidence needed to make the process dependable in day-to-day operations.
The learning journey then moves into Workflows, steps, actions, routing, Logs, managers, deployment. Activities use uDesigner solution blueprint and data dictionary, configured form package and field-validation test, workflow simulation and permission matrix, deployment package and regression checklist to compare expected behaviour with actual output, isolate defects early, and document corrective decisions without losing traceability.
By completion, participants can contribute to well-designed Unifier business processes, forms, workflows, shells, and logs that support controlled project operations. The final improvement plan identifies practical follow-up actions for monitoring, ownership, exception handling, support readiness, and controlled change.
What You Will Learn
- Explain how uDesigner concepts, business process types, and data definitions establish the operating foundation and shape later configuration decisions.
- Configure data elements, shells, and design standards, then confirm readiness through uDesigner solution blueprint and data dictionary rather than relying on screen messages alone.
- Execute a controlled workflow covering Upper forms, detail forms, and line items, preserving input traceability, approvals, and the resulting changes.
- Read configured form package and field-validation test to isolate a formula calculating correctly for one currency but not another, separate symptoms from causes, and select a correction that can be safely retested.
- Integrate Workflows, steps, and actions with ownership, access, and downstream process expectations.
- Challenge routing, permissions, statuses, and record ownership using normal and boundary cases, then defend the outcome with workflow simulation and permission matrix.
- Investigate a revised design overwriting a production configuration without rollback by reviewing Logs, managers, and deployment before applying a reversible fix.
- Prepare deployment package and regression checklist that demonstrates versioning, testing, migration, and design governance and supports handover, monitoring, and the next improvement decision.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Delivery combines focused demonstrations, guided build activities, scenario comparison, evidence review, fault isolation, peer discussion, and a final improvement plan. Each activity requires learners to record assumptions, decisions, expected results, observed behaviour, and the owner of any unresolved action.
