Course Description
Spring Fundamentals develops practical capability in spring architecture, IoC container, dependency injection, beans, configuration styles, component scanning and bean lifecycle, profiles, properties, AOP foundations, validation, exception handling. The learning path connects architecture, configuration, development, or functional processing to ownership, security, data quality, controls, and measurable acceptance criteria.
The later modules address spring MVC, controllers, request mapping, REST foundations, data binding, web testing and data access, transactions, Spring Boot configuration, testing, logging, production readiness. Learners work with application context and bean report, MVC request-response test, data-access transaction test, and automated test and configuration checklist to distinguish configuration defects from data, access, integration, performance, compliance, or operational failures.
By completing the course, participants can support a maintainable Spring application assembled through dependency injection, web, data-access, testing, and production-readiness practices. They also create an improvement plan covering validation, exception handling, rollback, ownership, monitoring, governance, and production support.
What You Will Learn
- Explain the architecture, responsibilities, and prerequisite decisions behind Spring architecture, IoC container, dependency injection.
- Configure beans, configuration styles, component scanning and confirm readiness using application context and bean report.
- Execute Bean lifecycle, profiles, properties, AOP foundations through a traceable sequence with clear ownership and approval boundaries.
- Identify request mapping or validation failure by inspecting MVC request-response test at the earliest reliable checkpoint.
- Integrate Spring MVC, controllers, request mapping into the wider workflow and document its upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Validate REST foundations, data binding, web testing with data-access transaction test, including a boundary or failure case.
- Operate Data access, transactions, Spring Boot configuration, testing against defined security, reliability, recovery, and support objectives.
- Resolve environment configuration drift through evidence-led diagnosis, a reversible correction, retesting, and preventive follow-up.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Delivery combines course-specific demonstrations, guided hands-on exercises, scenario analysis, validation checklists, structured troubleshooting, peer review, and a final improvement plan. Learners document assumptions, settings, data, outputs, exceptions, corrective actions, rollback needs, approvals, evidence, and operational responsibilities.
