Course Description
CompTIA Tech+ develops practical capability to understand essential computing, networking, applications, data, security, and troubleshooting concepts through CompTIA Tech+. The learning path begins with computing concepts, devices, components, interfaces, and setup and networks, internet services, applications, and software management, connecting technical or business decisions to measurable outcomes, security, evidence quality, and operational responsibility.
Applied work is framed around new technology users and career starters supporting everyday devices, applications, online services, and basic business data. Learners then progress through data, databases, security, privacy, and digital responsibility and troubleshooting, support communication, career paths, and next steps, producing basic device and component identification record, basic connectivity and application checklist, data and security decision worksheet, and resolved user scenario and career roadmap.
By completion, participants can plan, implement, validate, troubleshoot, communicate, and hand over the course workflows with clear assumptions, tests, corrective actions, rollback points, ownership, and prioritized next steps.
What You Will Learn
- Tech+ computer functions assurance maps device types; Tech+ computer functions assurance records basic device and component identification record.
- Through Tech+ processors validation, test memory; Tech+ processors validation confirms storage.
- Tech+ web applications workflow sequences software installation; before change, Tech+ web applications workflow marks rollback.
- When internet access works while a local application cannot resolve its service name, Tech+ updates diagnosis compares basic connectivity and application checklist; Tech+ updates diagnosis isolates cause.
- Balance files through Tech+ data types decision; Tech+ data types decision documents privacy tradeoffs.
- Tech+ database basics resilience exercises Tech+ database basics; under stress, Tech+ database basics resilience captures recovery.
- Correlate learning plan with Tech+ support tickets evidence; Tech+ support tickets evidence explains observed behavior.
- Handover resolved user scenario and career roadmap through Tech+ IT roles handover; Tech+ IT roles handover assigns Tech+ monitoring ownership.
