Course Description
The AWS Database Services training program is designed for database administrators, cloud architects, data engineers, DevOps engineers, application developers, solutions architects, and IT professionals who want to design, deploy, manage, and optimize database solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This comprehensive instructor-led online course provides an in-depth understanding of AWS managed database services, database migration strategies, backup and recovery, performance tuning, high availability, security, monitoring, automation, and cost optimization. Participants will gain hands-on experience with relational, NoSQL, in-memory, graph, ledger, time-series, and document databases using services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon ElastiCache, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Neptune, Amazon DocumentDB, Amazon Keyspaces, Amazon Timestream, and Amazon QLDB. The course also covers AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), disaster recovery planning, encryption, IAM integration, monitoring with Amazon CloudWatch, automation using AWS Lambda and AWS Systems Manager, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and database governance. Through extensive hands-on labs, enterprise case studies, production deployment scenarios, and a comprehensive capstone project, participants will develop the practical skills required to build secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing database environments on AWS. By the end of the course, learners will be able to select the appropriate AWS database service for different workloads, migrate on-premises databases to AWS, optimize database performance, implement security and compliance controls, and manage enterprise database environments following AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
