HA450 – SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 – Application Development for SAP HANA® builds the working knowledge needed to build multi-target SAP HANA applications using XS Advanced concepts, CDS persistence, SQLScript, Node.js services, OData, SAPUI5 integration, security roles, and deployment tools. Rather than treating functions separately, the course shows how process, data, configuration, access, and reporting decisions influence one another.

Exercises use a product team creating a secure analytical application that combines transactional persistence, calculation views, service APIs, and a browser-based user experience. Participants assemble HANA application architecture and MTA map, persistence and database-service evidence pack, end-to-end service and UI workflow workbook, and application release assurance and support plan and validate their decisions against exception conditions such as an application module deploys without binding to its required database resource; a procedure reads the wrong container because a cross-container grant is incomplete; the user interface receives data but mishandles an OData error response; a new deployment succeeds technically but removes access for an approved user role.

Successful participants can structure an MTA project, implement persistence and services, connect a user interface, secure application resources, debug failures, deploy versions, and document support controls.
