Test Management Overview

Test Management Overview builds the working knowledge needed to plan, organize, execute, document, and report SAP testing with requirements traceability, test plans, packages, cases, defects, and governance controls. Rather than treating functions separately, the course shows how process, data, configuration, access, and reporting decisions influence one another.

Exercises use an SAP program creating a repeatable test-management framework for process changes, regression cycles, user acceptance testing, and release evidence. Participants assemble test strategy and traceability map, test plan and execution evidence pack, defect and regression management workbook, and test-management assurance and improvement plan and validate their decisions against exception conditions such as a critical requirement has no linked process or test coverage; a tester completes a case without the required evidence or correct version; a fixed defect is closed without sufficient retest or regression evidence; reported completion is high while critical coverage or defect risk remains unresolved.

Successful participants can build test structures, assign and execute tests, manage defects, monitor progress, and prepare defensible release-readiness evidence.
