Course Description
SCM630 – Warehouse Management develops practical capability to design, execute, and control classic SAP warehouse movements from receipt through inventory verification. The learning path connects course concepts with controlled SAP execution, reviewable evidence, and clear business accountability.
Applied work follows a distribution center reorganizing storage areas, transfer processing, replenishment, picking, and physical inventory controls. Learners create warehouse structure and master-data map, inbound putaway execution evidence pack, outbound and replenishment control workbook, and warehouse inventory assurance and improvement plan, while testing realistic exceptions including a storage-bin assignment prevents the intended putaway path; a transfer order selects an unsuitable destination bin; replenishment fails to create stock before a priority pick; a count difference remains unexplained after recount and document review.
By completion, participants can map warehouse structures, process inbound and outbound movements, investigate stock differences, and improve warehouse visibility with defensible evidence.
What You Will Learn

- Configure storage bin master data to support controlled accurate warehouse execution across defined organizational boundaries.
- Execute inbound goods receipt while recording documents, statuses, approvals, and accountable evidence.
- Validate putaway strategies against expected outcomes, integration dependencies, and authorization controls.
- Analyze outbound picking to locate where operational results diverge from approved design.
- Resolve replenishment controls exceptions through evidence-led correction, retesting, and documented ownership.
- Interpret physical inventory differences indicators to prioritize improvements and communicate supported business conclusions.
- Prepare warehouse monitoring handover records with review triggers, responsibilities, and measurable follow-up actions.
