Course Description
CompTIA Project+ PK0-005 develops practical capability to coordinate technology projects through initiation, planning, delivery, communication, risk, change, and closure for PK0-005. The learning path begins with project concepts, governance, roles, lifecycle, and initiation and scope, schedule, cost, resources, procurement, and baselines, connecting technical or business decisions to measurable outcomes, security, evidence quality, and operational responsibility.
Applied work is framed around a cross-functional IT project delivering infrastructure, software, vendor, and operational changes under fixed constraints. Learners then progress through communication, quality, risk, issues, teams, and delivery control and change, agile practices, transition, closure, and benefits review, producing project charter and stakeholder map, integrated project baseline, delivery control pack and decision log, and approved closure and transition report.
By completion, participants can plan, implement, validate, troubleshoot, communicate, and hand over the course workflows with clear assumptions, tests, corrective actions, rollback points, ownership, and prioritized next steps.
What You Will Learn
- Project+ PK0-005 project characteristics assurance maps governance; Project+ PK0-005 project characteristics assurance records project charter and stakeholder map.
- Through Project+ PK0-005 sponsors validation, test stakeholders; Project+ PK0-005 sponsors validation confirms team roles.
- Project+ PK0-005 critical path workflow sequences budget; before change, Project+ PK0-005 critical path workflow marks rollback.
- When a compressed schedule ignores resource contention, Project+ PK0-005 resources diagnosis compares integrated project baseline; Project+ PK0-005 resources diagnosis isolates cause.
- Balance quality criteria through Project+ PK0-005 communication planning decision; Project+ PK0-005 communication planning decision documents metrics tradeoffs.
- Project+ PK0-005 risk register resilience exercises Project+ PK0-005 risk register; under stress, Project+ PK0-005 risk register resilience captures recovery.
- Correlate benefits tracking with Project+ PK0-005 operational transition evidence; Project+ PK0-005 operational transition evidence explains observed behavior.
- Handover approved closure and transition report through Project+ PK0-005 lessons learned handover; Project+ PK0-005 lessons learned handover assigns Project+ PK0-005 monitoring ownership.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
