Course Description
Unified Assurance V6 – Admin Ed 1 develops practical capability in unified assurance architecture, components, users, roles, tenancy, and administration and discovery, inventory, polling, events, alarms, enrichment, and correlation. The learning path connects Oracle architecture, configuration, development, or functional processing to ownership, security, data quality, controls, and measurable acceptance criteria.
The later modules address dashboards, reporting, notifications, escalation, thresholds, and service views and backup, upgrade, capacity, performance, security, and administrative troubleshooting. Learners work with component health, user and role records, discovery results, alarm flows to distinguish configuration defects from data, access, integration, performance, or operational failures.
By completing the course, participants can support a Unified Assurance platform administered for reliable discovery, event processing, service visibility, reporting, and controlled maintenance. They also create an improvement plan covering validation, exception handling, rollback, ownership, monitoring, and production support.
What You Will Learn
- Describe the purpose, actors, and boundaries of Unified Assurance Architecture, Components.
- Implement Users, Roles, Tenancy and prove the setup through component health.
- Run Discovery, Inventory without bypassing security, control, or audit requirements.
- Investigate privilege misconfiguration through Polling, Events, Alarms before modifying configuration.
- Model Dashboards, Reporting for the course scenario and compare expected with actual behaviour.
- Verify Notifications, Escalation, Thresholds using dashboard data instead of relying on visual confirmation alone.
- Maintain Backup, Upgrade without weakening performance, governance, or supportability.
- Document a corrective and preventive response for notification failure, supported by Capacity, Performance, Security.
SkillDynamo Training Approach
Delivery combines Oracle-specific demonstrations, guided hands-on exercises, scenario analysis, validation checklists, structured troubleshooting, peer review, and a final improvement plan. Learners document assumptions, settings, data, outputs, exceptions, corrective actions, rollback needs, approvals, evidence, and operational responsibilities.
