Course Description
Order to Cash Integration: Siebel and OSM Pack Ed 1 develops applied skills across Siebel and Oracle Communications OSM order integration, decomposition, orchestration, fulfilment plans, fallout handling, monitoring, testing, and release control. Learners work within a communications provider orchestrating complex service orders from Siebel capture through OSM fulfilment, linking configuration and process decisions to security, accuracy, availability, and operational ownership.
The course progresses through O2C Architecture, Order Decomposition, and Service Model; Siebel Capture, Validation, and Order Handoff; OSM Orchestration, Fulfilment Plans, and Fallout Handling; End-to-End Testing, Monitoring, Reconciliation, and Release. Every stage produces practical evidence, a validation record, troubleshooting notes, and a reusable handover outcome.
What You Will Learn
- Apply Siebel order capture, integration layer, OSM, fulfilment systems, and status boundaries while working through o2c architecture, order decomposition, and service model.
- Validate commercial products, services, resources, specifications, and order-item relationships and resolve issues involving message contracts, correlation, idempotency, traceability, and architecture checks.
- Apply quote-to-order flow, product configuration, eligibility, pricing, and asset context while working through siebel capture, validation, and order handoff.
- Validate order line attributes, actions, dependencies, service points, and validation and resolve issues involving missing attributes, invalid products, duplicate handoff, and support diagnosis.
- Apply OSM cartridges, order types, recognition, creation tasks, and data dictionaries while working through osm orchestration, fulfilment plans, and fallout handling.
- Validate orchestration plans, process flows, manual/automated tasks, and dependencies and resolve issues involving task failures, stuck orders, data correction, restart, and controlled recovery.
- Apply functional, integration, performance, negative, amendment, and recovery test cases while working through end-to-end testing, monitoring, reconciliation, and release.
- Validate order trace, task metrics, exceptions, alarms, logs, and operational dashboards and resolve issues involving cartridge deployment, cutover, rollback, version compatibility, and hypercare.
Training Approach
Guided demonstrations, hands-on configuration, scenario analysis, validation checklists, controlled failure testing, troubleshooting, solution review, and a final improvement plan are used throughout Order to Cash Integration: Siebel and OSM Pack Ed 1. Learners document assumptions, settings, outputs, exceptions, corrective actions, rollback needs, and operational responsibilities.
