Course Description

Siebel Technical Foundations 15.5 prepares learners to work confidently with Siebel CRM architecture, data model, server components, configuration tools, workflows, business services, integration, logging, and administration. Learners work within a Siebel support and configuration team preparing to diagnose business behavior across client, server, repository, and integration layers, linking configuration and process decisions to security, accuracy, availability, and operational ownership.

Four connected stages cover CRM Navigation, Data Model, and Query Fundamentals; Enterprise Architecture, Servers, Clients, and Logging; Siebel Tools, Repository Objects, and Configuration; Workflows, Business Services, Web Services, and LOV Administration. Every stage produces practical evidence, a validation record, troubleshooting notes, and a reusable handover outcome.

What You Will Learn

• Apply Siebel applications, screens, views, applets, records, MVGs, and navigation behavior while working through crm navigation, data model, and query fundamentals.
• Validate business objects, business components, fields, joins, links, and data relationships and resolve issues involving record creation, updates, validation, audit fields, and data issue diagnosis.
• Apply gateway, enterprise, Siebel Server, database, web server, and client architecture while working through enterprise architecture, servers, clients, and logging.
• Validate server components, component groups, tasks, parameters, and startup dependencies and resolve issues involving event logging, log levels, task diagnostics, crash evidence, and service recovery.
• Apply Siebel Tools workspace, projects, object hierarchy, locking, and repository delivery while working through siebel tools, repository objects, and configuration.
• Validate applets, views, screens, business components, controls, list columns, and properties and resolve issues involving validation errors, missing objects, upgrade-safe changes, and controlled rollback.
• Apply workflow processes, steps, connectors, conditions, process properties, and simulation while working through workflows, business services, web services, and lov administration.
• Validate business services, methods, inputs/outputs, scripting boundaries, and reusable logic and resolve issues involving LOVs, state models, responsibilities, administration data, and end-to-end troubleshooting.

Training Approach

Guided demonstrations, hands-on configuration, scenario analysis, validation checklists, controlled failure testing, troubleshooting, solution review, and a final improvement plan are used throughout Siebel Technical Foundations 15.5. Learners document assumptions, settings, outputs, exceptions, corrective actions, rollback needs, and operational responsibilities.
