Course Description
SkillDynamo’s Windows Internals training develops practical, source-aligned skills in Windows operating-system architecture, diagnostics, and internals. The course is designed for systems engineers, advanced administrators, security researchers, developers, and support specialists who need a clear understanding of the platform, its important features, and its real-world application.
The 80 Hours curriculum is independently rewritten into four structured lessons. Learners progress from foundations and use-case analysis to configuration, implementation, security, governance, troubleshooting, scenario validation, and best-practice review.
The course also strengthens practical decision-making. Learners evaluate requirements, select suitable Microsoft tools and methods, validate results, document evidence, avoid common implementation mistakes, and create an improvement plan for future projects and operational use.
What You Will Learn
- Explain the architecture of Windows user mode, kernel mode, and executive components
- Analyze processes, threads, scheduling, handles, objects, and system activity
- Understand virtual memory, heaps, caching, paging, and memory diagnostics
- Describe Windows I/O, drivers, services, registry, and system-startup behavior
- Interpret access tokens, privileges, security descriptors, and authentication behavior
- Use Sysinternals and diagnostic tools to investigate Windows systems
- Troubleshoot performance, resource, stability, and security-related symptoms
- Document a structured Windows internals investigation and improvement plan
SkillDynamo Training Approach
The SkillDynamo Expert Team uses instructor-guided explanations, Windows operating-system architecture, diagnostics, and internals demonstrations, hands-on exercises, realistic scenario analysis, validation checklists, and structured troubleshooting activities.
Each lesson connects theory with practical application so learners understand what to configure, why a specific approach is appropriate, how to verify the result, and how to improve the solution. The course concludes with a final scenario review and an actionable improvement plan.
